Lenovo IdeaCentre K320 - A Powerful and Stylish PC

Today we tested the well known Lenovo IdeaCentre K320 personal computer. We have been craving for this computer since we read the description on Lenovo's official website. They said that their computer has three gears for intense gaming. Although it wasn't very clear what this meant, their next few sentences quickly left us wanting more. They said that it is their most powerful desktop, featuring all the options users crave for. It has a blazing fast i7 Intel processor and an incredible power. Its brilliant High Definition output is good enough to satisfy even the most avid of games, while its simplicity makes it an absolute blast to use. Well, this all sounds extremely promising, but is it that good? We were bent on finding that out, so we put it to the ultimate tests to see if it really could exceed our expectations. And we are proud to announce that the 9 Lenovo IdeaCentre K320 managed to do just that!

We started by putting the central processing unit, the most important part of Lenovo IdeaCentre K320's configuration, to a test. We were surprised to find a very potent Intel Core i3 530 processor inside. It was working at a very good speed of 2.93 GHz and on a high speed front side bus (FSB) of no less than 1333 MHz. Its large, 4 MB L2 cache clearly had a positive impact on the way this CPU managed to pass all our tests. When put to the ultimate multi threading test, it simply took a little longer than in other tests. No hassles, no problems, simply perfect! We are proud to give the processor a 10 out of 10.

Next, we were happy to find 4 GB of high speed DDR3 random access memory inside the Lenovo IdeaCentre K320, working at a frequency of 1066 MHz. When put to the test, the memory behaved very well and we were almost inclined to give it a 10. However, after taking another look at the price tag, we feel a 9 out of 10 is more suitable due to the fact that other computers offer as much as 8 GB in this price. The 500 GB hard disk drive, spinning at a speed of 7200 rotations per minute is a great addition and deserves another 10 points.

We were somewhat disappointed by Lenovo IdeaCentre K320's Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 graphics processing unit. We were expecting a more potent video card, so we can only give it 8 out of 10 points here.

The process is known as "inking". The stylus can select objects on the screen in the same manner as a mouse. The stylus can be used for clicking, double clicking, dragging, dropping and right clicking; however, it may take some time before you get used to it. You should always keep in mind that the screen only rotates one way as pointed by the arrow.

It's advisable to avoid holding the Lenovo tablet from the extended battery (rear end) as this position isn't very sturdy and there is a risk that it may break.
