At a price of 9 we purchased a brand new Lenovo IdeaCentre A310 to test it out. If you are wondering why we spend so much money on all the latest products, the answer is we are very curious to compare what the manufacturing company says with the actual capabilities of their products. Lenovo says about this all in one that it is an ultra thin digital entertainment platform with easy set up and lots of power and agility. We know Lenovo products are very competitive and worth every penny, but we just couldn't resist the temptation to see it for ourselves. So, today, early in the morning, our brand new Lenovo IdeaCentre A310 has arrived to our doorstep. Once we opened the large box, we found ourselves in front of a very stylish and elegant all in one desktop that was clearly built to appeal to its users. Although we were impressed by its good looks, we are not here to rate designs but products. And a good all in one delivers speed, versatility, and agility to its users. So we started testing the desktop to find any flaws.

We started by testing Lenovo IdeaCentre A310's CPU (central processing unit) to find out if it was as agile as Lenovo stated. We found a very potent Intel Core i3 350M processor working at a very good speed of 2.26 GHz, on a front side bus (FSB) of 1066 MHz and with an L2 cache of 3 MB. This looked very promising and indeed, the processor exceeded our expectations, delivering high speeds and passing all of our tests with incredible agility. We are very happy about its computing power so we are proud to give it 10 out of 10 points for this.

Next, we tested Lenovo IdeaCentre A310's 4 GB of DDR3 random access memory (or RAM as it is abbreviated) and found a high frequency of 1066 MHz. The memory behaved very well and we were compelled to give it a rating of 9 out of 10. The Intel Graphics HD Media Accelerator HM55 graphics processing unit (GPU) was very versatile and managed to output very bright and clear HD graphics to the 21.5 inch All In One HD display, at a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels true HD. It scores another 10 points here.
The hard drive was the only flaw of the Lenovo IdeaCentre A310. Although at 320 GB in size, it was large enough to accommodate all our files, its low speed of just 5400 rotations per minute was a blow to the overall capability of the all in one. We can give it just 8 points for this.
